The Effect of Hybrid/Remote Work Environments on Nonprofit Employee Satisfaction Within Internal Business Communications
Purpose Statement
Organizations in the United States are faced with the potential ongoing challenges to effective and satisfactory internal communications in hybrid work environments. These challenges include the maintenance of organizational culture, maintaining efficient organizational operations, encouraging collective movement toward organizational goals, and effective management. Understanding satisfaction levels of internal communications can help organizations identify areas for improvement to successfully support their employees. The purpose of the proposed research is to provide data that can both inform further research in this area as well as help in the development of internal communications strategies that can be implemented in times of crisis or prolonged hybrid/remote work environments.
